What to expect
Conversation
We begin with what brought you in, your dental history and what matters most to you.
Evaluation
The orthodontist evaluates tooth alignment, bite relationships and other relevant findings.
Options
When enough information is available, we explain suitable treatment choices, timing and estimated costs.
What to bring
- Dental insurance information if you would like benefits reviewed.
- A list of relevant medical conditions and medications.
- Recent dental records or X-rays if your dentist has asked you to bring them.
- Your questions about braces, clear aligners, timing, fees or daily life during treatment.
Virtual consultation
The current virtual-consultation process can provide a preliminary review based on the information and photographs you submit. It does not replace an in-person examination or establish a final diagnosis or treatment plan.

After the consultation
If treatment is recommended, you will receive information about diagnostic records, the proposed appliance, estimated treatment time, fees and payment arrangements. You may take time to consider your options.
